I think it's going to be a bit difficult to get on the Metro at Cleveland Park. Try taking the bus instead. If you can walk over to the Cathedral neighborhood, you can catch the 30 line downtown from Wisconsin Ave. I think more people will be trying to catch the train in than the bus because out-of-towners are more familiar with the Metro train system than they are with the bus lines.beachy in the burbshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10072916384423009466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8451264862965215307.post-69071058014639109662009-01-12T16:48:00.000-05:002009-01-12T16:48:00.000-05:00My son is in DC too and I've been hearing about it...My son is in DC too and I've been hearing about it and seeing some of the road closures on maps. In NYC on New Year's Eve, they close subway stops that are closest to Times Square, was wondering if the Metro would dare try that. Still, it will be exciting if you are nearby.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8451264862965215307.post-89187534618428087012009-01-12T14:07:00.000-05:002009-01-12T14:07:00.000-05:00i'm bringing my heelys: http://www.youtube.com...i'm bringing my heelys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw9BtEVYq-s&feature=relatedPatrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07445722336577302643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8451264862965215307.post-55598262389602550022009-01-12T13:32:00.000-05:002009-01-12T13:32:00.000-05:00I don't think coming into DC will be quite as bad ...I don't think coming into DC will be quite as bad as getting out. But, yes, still bad. I think you'll be OK to get on at Cleveland Park. The rush to get on the train after the parade or the ceremony depending on the weather will be another situation.Bennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07682551689758548028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8451264862965215307.post-80290082318946940082009-01-12T12:39:00.000-05:002009-01-12T12:39:00.000-05:00Oi. There's no way I'll be able to get on the Metro at the Cleveland Park station? Ugh.Christopher Busta-Peckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15428701548572867797noreply@blogger.com
