The contractor finished! Now, it's just up to us to paint. You'll have to wait for the glamour shots later. Here's where we are so far:

the lights are very cool, is the ceiling above them still unpainted.. looks odd.

we still haven't painted. That huge square of blue above the light is from the old light fixture. Painting the ceiling is going to be unpleasant.

i love your school house lights!! they are so lovely and such a great inspiration for my kitchen! i'm also doing an IKEA kitchen - just recently started demo - doing the whole thing diy. good luck on the rest of it!!
