Last September I installed a new doorbell. Shortly after it rusted. Then, it fell off. The wiring behind the doorbell was also tricky as it was really short and stripped and constantly touching which stopped the doorbell from working. So, for the last couple months we have had no doorbell. The pizza guy gets confused. But, he learned to knock.
No longer. This weekend I installed a wireless doorbell. Best thing ever. It also has a doorbell for the backdoor, which comes in handy when I "accidentally" lock Dan out of the house. What? It's habit to lock the backdoor. Now he can ring the doorbell instead of frantically pounding on the door shouting he doesn't have keys. Oops.
It really could not have been easier to install. You should try it...
