Then they broke our phone.

Well, the Comcast debaucle continues. Our phone doesn't work now. Another tech has to come out.

Good grief! If I have to talk to them one more time I am going to lose it!

Good grief! Are you sure you don't have Charter? I ask because every time we have cable issues, they try to sell me phone service. And I tell them, "Why? So that when the cable goes out, I can't CALL you either?!"

I hope you hold out for BIG discounts on your bill!

Comcast has left me 3 messages on our home phone (which I can only get remotely since I have no dial tone). I'll let you know how it goes.

If this keeps up, I'd suggest looking at consumerist.com and searching for comcast. They have all sorts of horror stories about dealing with them, but also really good advice on getting things fixed.

I solved this problem by moving over to the Maryland line....

  • Splinters under fingernail: 1
  • Bird Shit on me: 1
  • Eye Injuries: 3
  • Burns: 0
  • Falls off ladder: 0 (this is because we don't have a ladder yet)
  • Headaches: too many to itemize
  • Broken Bones: 0
  • Bandages Needed: 5
  • Electric Shocks: 2
  • Stiches: 0
  • Bruises: way too many
